Why choose a Larvik Cabin?

Silicone Free v

The Larvik has rubber seals built into the frame and has a tray with an up-stand and drainage channels that removes the need for silicone inside the cabin. Many shower cabins are essentially glued together with silicone to make them more rigid and to re-enforce poor build quality.

Easy Plumb Tray v

The Larvik tray has a removable front skirt and a large 90mm trap. This makes it easy to level the tray and access the trap if required. To save costs many cabins have a tray with no skirt and a smaller 50mm trap in the rear corner.

Free Standing v

The Larvik is completely self-contained and free standing with obscured rear glass panels. Unlike many shower rooms the Larvik will not require attaching to your walls for support and can easily be moved in and out of position should this ever be required for maintenance.

Leak Protection v

The screws that attach the frame of the Larvik to the tray are captive and do not fully perforate the tray. As all the frame sits within an upstand and has built in drainage channels all water must be directed to the drain. The screws that attach the frame to the tray on most other models screw right through the tray creating many more potential places for it to leak.

Easy to Clean v

The Larvik has no silicone and no clutter inside the cabin making it easy to clean. The doors are quick release and the glass is treated to resist dirt and scale. Many cabins have lots of silicone inside the cabin which will harbour mould along with fixed doors and untreated glass.

The Larvik is supplied with quality heavy cast brass thermostatic mixer taps and chromed brass door handles. Due to the extra cost and often because of limitations in the cabin structure many suppliers fit cheap and lightweight caravan mixer tap fittings in their cabins.

The Larvik is available in many different formats and can be customised with different colours and fittings to suit almost any application.

The Frog Larvik Rectangle Standard is a premium quality free standing self-contained shower pod made with an anodised aluminium frame, all round tempered safety glass and a standard sized cast brass thermostatic bar mixer tap. Part of our exclusive Larvik range of shower cabins with a design based on over 20 years of industry experience the Larvik is easy to install, clean and maintain, it is extremely durable and provides excellent protection against leaks.

The front of the tray is removable for levelling and easy access to the 90 mm fast flow trap and flexible waste. No tiling required; all our stock models feature obscured rear glass panels that prevent you from seeing through to your walls behind. The shower just requires assembly and connection to your services before being pushed back into position.
